Founded in the spring of 2006, Peacock China Imports (PCI) was born of a multi-purpose mission. Having discovered the remarkably distinctive products of the Miao people and Tibetan cultures, CEO Fran Rogers dedicated two years to hand-selecting these treasures to share online, and at select expositions across the U.S.At the same time, she has committed her efforts to assisting with the many prevalent minority concerns associated with these two areas.
After evaluating a multitude of hand-crafted items in a number of primitive Chinese villages, PCI determined that the colorful crafts from the Miao and Tibetans should be those to travel West… for the first time in their history. In addition to PCI’s online catalog offering textile arts including oil paintings, jewelry, silver hand mirrors and jewelry boxes, unique custom designs can be special-ordered through PCI’s resident Chinese artist.
Connoisseurs of exquisite Chinese art and embroidery are welcome to meet Ms. Rogers at select trade shows and exhibits, coast to coast.
